  • I Received My Delta-8 Vape Cartridge or Disposable Pen and It Is Not Working. What Should I Do?
We truly apologize for any inconvenience here, but your cartridge or vape pen is most likely not broken, and there is a simple fix. Vape Cartridges If you’re getting airflow but no vapor, you may need to "prime" the vape cartridge. Without your cart being attached to the battery, take around 5 to 8 inhales, or dry hits. There should be no vapor, only air, in the chamber. Just keep pulling the air through the chamber and into your mouth. Then just rub your vape cart quickly between the palms of your hand to loosen the oil. If it appears that the oil is remaining above the chamber, just repeat the process until the oil appears slightly lower chamber. Please take the few minutes required to prime your vape. It is essential to prepare your new cart for use, as well as preventing any clogging in the future. If this still doesn't work, please contact customer service at info@theheartofhemp.com for a replacement. Disposable Vape Pens If you’re getting airflow but no vapor, you may need to "prime" your vape so the hemp oil saturates CCELL's ceramic coil. Simply take 2-3 short vapes to get the hemp oil, but not long draws. The last thing you want to do is burn the lovely ceramic coil. You just want to get it warm enough so the hemp oil can start to weep into the ceramic coil. After priming let the vape pen sit upright for 30 minutes to 1 hour before trying again. If you are still not getting a strong vape, repeat this process. If you’re not getting any airflow then your vape pen is not working because the hemp oil inside has cooled, causing a minor clog. All you need to do is warm it up. First, rub your disposable pen quickly between the palms of your hand to help warm the device and loosen the hemp oil. Then try unclogging the unit by blowing into the bottom side of the vape bar a few times. You will know that it is unclogged when you see vapor come out of the mouthpiece, then you can use your vape as normal. If this still doesn't work, please contact customer service at info@theheartofhemp.com for a replacement.

Hemp is a cannabis plant that contains less than 0.3% Delta-9 THC on a dry weight basis in accordance with the 2018 Farm Bill and NMAC 21.20.3, so it cannot be used as a psychoactive drug. The level of THC in hemp used in the United States, Canada, and Europe is limited to 0.3% on a dry weight basis. The content of heat, moisture, and terpene all affect CBD Shatter's texture and consistency. CBD Shatter is great because it can either be dissolved into a fat/oil of your choice or vaporized via dabbing or dab-vaporizer pen. The best way to use our Crystal Terps CBD shatter is by dabbing. Dabbing is a form of smoking where you take a small amount of shatter, set it on a hot plate or nail, and inhale the vapor. In order to dab, you need the proper equipment. A dab rig is an ideal tool for beginners. However, some vaporizers and vape pens also work well with Crystal Terps CBD shatter. Not sure how to dab? Don't worry, we have all the details here.

We recommend shaking the bottle before each use to prevent re-crystallization and to evenly distribute the CBD throughout.

Delta-8 THC is chemically much different from CBD, and this influences the types of effects they each have. Both elicit their effects through interactions with receptors of the endocannabinoid system, which in turn positively impact the body and its functions. But because of their varying chemical structure, they interact with these receptors differently. Of the endocannabinoid system’s two major receptors - CB1 and CB2 - delta-8 THC binds directly with CB1 receptors, whereas CBD has a more indirect impact on CB2 receptors. Because of that, Delta-8 has noticeable uplifting effects that you can feel. It works comparably to Delta-9 THC but is known to be considerably less potent. • How to Dab CBD - Cold Start Method (Best for Beginner to Moderate Dabbers)
Cold Start Method (Best for Beginner to Moderate Dabbers, or anyone who loves to preserve terpene flavors) First, find a comfortable place to get situated with your dab rig and CBD concentrates. We always recommend dabbing on a quartz banger, but a titanium nail will work just as well. Make sure the water in your rig is always fresh, and the quartz banger is clean for use. If not, heat up your banger/nail until the surface is glowing red and all reclaim or residual carbon burns completely off. This will ensure the best tasting dab experience. Then wait until the banger/nail is completely cooled down. This may take 5-15 minutes. Once you’re positioned, use the dab tool to place the CBD concentrate on the surface of the banger/nail away from the intake to the dab rig. Then heat up the banger/nail with a butane torch for 3-8 seconds or until the CBD concentrate has melted and began to bubble, somewhere around 350-575 degrees Fahrenheit, depending on your temperature preference. But always remember higher temperatures destroy the terpenes. As a general rule, it takes 3-8 seconds for it to heat up, but this will vary depending on the style, material and thickness of the banger/nail. The best tool is a Digital Temperature Gun, but a stopwatch or a specialized app for your mobile device all work great to safeguard you from taking an overheated dab. As soon as the banger/nail reach the optimal temperature, slowly inhale the vapor. Place the carb cap over the nail and spin it around to completely vaporize the concentrate. Immediately exhale the vapor. Continue inhaling until the dab is finished, adding extra heat at 3-5 seconds intervals as needed…but watch the heat so you don’t destroy the remaining terpenes. After completing the dab use a cotton swab to wipe the banger/nail to remove all leftover residue. Then dip the cotton swab in 91% isopropyl alcohol and rub it along the bottom and interior of the banger/nail. Use a dry cotton swab to wipe up the excess, and you’re ready for the next use.
  • How to Dab CBD - Hot Start Method (Best for Moderate to Advanced Dabbers)
Hot Start Method (Best for Moderate to Advanced Dabbers) First, find a comfortable place to get situated with your dab rig and CBD concentrates. We always recommend dabbing on a quartz banger, but a titanium nail or even an e-nail will work just as well. Make sure the water in your rig is always fresh, and the quartz banger is clean for use. If not, heat up your banger/nail until the surface is glowing red and all reclaim or residual carbon burns completely off. This will ensure the best-tasting dab experience. Once you’re positioned, heat up the banger/nail with a butane torch until the surface is glowing red. After it’s hot, about 10-15 seconds with the torch, you’ll need to wait for the banger to cool to the optimal temperature for dabbing CBD, somewhere around 350-575 degrees Fahrenheit, depending on your temperature preference. But always remember higher temperatures destroy the terpenes. As a general rule, it takes 45-60 seconds for it to cool, but this will vary depending on the style, material and thickness of the banger/nail. The best tool is a Digital Temperature Gun, but a stopwatch or a specialized app for your mobile device all work great to safeguard you from taking an overheated dab. • What Is Delta-8?
By now you've probably heard of Delta-8-THC. But when you first step into the world of cannabis, it can be daunting to go through all the different terms and cannabinoids while trying to decide which option is right for you and your needs. Simply put, Delta-8 THC is a cannabinoid with a similar structure to its well-known cousin Delta-9 THC. It has similar psychoactive properties but most find the effects generally milder which is why Delta-8 THC is great when looking to relax. Most experience about 3/4 of the effects of Delta-9 THC and usually without all the extra paranoia making Delta-8 THC a great alternative for day and evening time use. Delta-8 THC is a different form of THC found within the hemp plant. Although it can be found in the cannabis plant, Delta-8 THC is only present at low concentrations naturally. Since the concentration is so low in the plant, Delta-8 is produced by converting hemp-derived CBD isolate or distillate to Delta-8 THC using food grade acids and filtration. Many people enjoy the effects of delta-8 because it delivers a powerful, uplifting effect that you can feel. We’ve also heard many stories of people using delta-8 to sleep better.
